What Tower Archer is
Tower Archer is a floor-by-floor action game set inside an office tower full of enemy agents. You are the spy. The files you need are somewhere in the building, the elevators are the only way between floors, and everybody else in the tower has a gun.
The elevators are the heart of it. You step into a car, ride it up or down the shaft, and step out onto a floor that may or may not have somebody waiting. Learning to use a moving car as cover, and to leave it the moment the doors line up, is most of the skill in the game.
Clear a building and the next one starts, taller and better defended. Your score carries across floors, so a careful run is worth far more than a fast one.
How to play
- Press Enter to start the mission.
- Walk with left and right, jump with Space, duck with down.
- Ride an elevator by stepping into the car and pressing up or down. Step out with left or right when it reaches a floor.
- Shoot with X. You can only have a couple of shots in the air at once, so make them count.
- Take the files, then finish the floor. Clear a building and Enter starts the next one.
Controls
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Left / Right | Walk, or step out of an elevator |
| Up / Down | Send the elevator car you are in up or down |
| Down | Duck |
| Space | Jump |
| X | Shoot |
| Enter | Start, or go to the next building |
On a phone or tablet: Tower Archer is built around a keyboard and plays best on a laptop or desktop.
Tips
- Duck. Most agent fire goes over a crouching spy.
- Use the car as a shield. An elevator between you and a shooter stops the shot.
- Do not leave a car blind. Wait for the doors to line up and look before you step out.
- Two bullets is the limit, so fire when a shot will land rather than keeping the key held down.
Questions
Does it work on a phone?
Not well. It needs a keyboard, so play it on a computer.
How violent is it?
You shoot at cartoon enemy agents. There is no blood.
Nothing in this game costs money, and there is no account to make. See the parents' guide for what is in it, or the privacy policy for what we store (almost nothing).
